Stanozolol is an anabolic and androgenic steroid produced in tablets. There is also an injectable form called Winstrol. Stanozolol is the active component of the drug.
It was first produced in 1962 by a pharmaceutical company Winthrop Laboratories under the name “Winstrol”. Back then it was used for treating anemia, angioneurotic hereditary edema and increased recovery rates after surgery.

The drug was also used by vets to build up muscle, accelerate blood formation, strengthen bone tissue and increase appetite in weak or sick animals.
Later the drug’s started to be used on race horses to improve their speed performance. This led to bodybuilders, weightlifters, boxer, powerlifters and other strength sports athletes to take notice of the drug.

Administrations and Dosage

A solo stanozolol cycle is used by athletes for better body definition and vascularity. The drug will be beneficial for those, who have sufficient body weight with a moderate amount of fat. The optimal dosages are at 30-50 mg daily. Track and field athletes and boxers use 10 mg per day. Cycle’s duration – 4-6 weeks. A longer cycle increases the risk of side effects, especially concerning joints. Post-cycle therapy is started 2-3 days after the cycle’s been completed. Maintaining a sports diet is essential for maximized effects.

Using tableted anabolic steroids while eating or after meal reduces the bioavailability of the active component. It’s recommended to use the tableted steroid on an empty stomach for maximized effects. It’s best to take the pills in the morning, as the cortisol hormone production is stimulated to the max during that time. Cycle and Combined Cycles
